The Free Japan Prayer Network was born out of the worldwide prayerwalking movement called Free Japan that took place in March 2004. Missionaries, nationals, and volunteers prayerwalked throughout Japan from Okinawa to Hokkaido. Special prayer meetings also took place in many countries focusing on the spiritual needs of the Japanese.
The Free Japan Prayer Network site exists to:

Inform Christians of God's mighty work in Japan

Network world-wide prayer resources for Japan-focused prayer

Mobilize intercession for the spiritual deliverance of all Japanese and

Assist in the facilitation of A Church Planting Movements in Japan resulting in exponential multiplication of new believers, churches and workers.

revival? "It is believers ignited by the love and victory of Christ. It is
church growth measured not in ones and twos, but exponentially. It is your
family and friends finding new life in the Lord Jesus. Isn’t this the desire of
our hearts? God is the only One who can bring this kind of awakening. That is
why the great revivals have always started with extended, fervent prayer. What
would happen if we all raised our voices together in prayer and invited
Christians all over the world to join us? We would experience the outpouring of
the Holy Spirit to such an extent that the church would never be the same. Free
Japan is a movement to do just that in March, 2004. We have already started
