"One of the blessings was the spirit of unity that we sensed as we labored in prayer beside others with similar hearts. The Free Japan movement gave us an open door to touch bases with folks we wanted to be linked with in an activity that was of common interest to all."

"It seems that the biggest "result" is in each of us who walked. Believing God more. Wanting to be more actively involved in praying specifically for the areas where we live and work."

"The most wonderful thing to me was that people here in Japan for other purposes than "ministry" participated with us in Free Japan."

"I was not able to get with others to walk but after my class I gave thought as to where I would prayerwalk and I realized that I had a huge media center right in my own back yard, NHK., a huge media center capable of reaching millions with God's Word if only they had the desire in their hearts. As the Lord placed the desire upon the pagan King Cyrus's heart to free the Israelites from captivity in Babylon, I prayed that every individual within this building would have changed hearts. I marched around this building seven times (knowing that the Lord knew my thoughts in seven times) asking the Lord to change their hearts that they would desire to know Him. It was truly a wonderful experience."

"I have found that prayerwalking is emotionally, spiritually, and physically very draining. I found myself on the verge of tears a lot. I pray that is God is putting His burden in my heart, so that I will not rest until we have sought out and found those who will either partner with us, or who will accept the gospel, follow Jesus, and help start His church planting movement in this area. We prayed a lot just for people’s salvation and for God to bring glory to His own name. We are asking God to show us His vision for the people here."

"Our first day out prayerwalking was very meaningful. I wasn't prepared, though, for the emotions I felt as we looked out over the city of Tokyo from the 45th story of the government office building. Tears flowed from my eyes as I was so overwhelmed with the multitudes of millions of lost souls!"

"After the prayerwalk, the debriefing was so impressive as the Japanese people gave their impressions of the walk. They testified that God had spoken to them of their responsibility in winning their church neighborhood to Christ. They liked the prayer walking experience and plan to continue it. One man was impressed to put up signs to show people in the neighborhood the directions to the church."

"I will NEVER forget the "picture" of those hundreds of people coming to the temple, throwing money at an idol, and then praying to that centuries old idol with deaf ears. And the horrid screeching of the flocks of black crows every time we would stop to pray. This may be the most vivid physical picture of spiritual warfare that I have encountered. But none of this evil overshadowed the beauty of the group prayer walk around the Imperial Palace on Monday, the park homeless service on Tuesday afternoon and the service on Wednesday evening. He reminded us again that He who is in us is truly greater than he who is in this world."

"Things are going well with the Florida volunteers prayerwalking here in Tokushima. Tomorrow we are on our way into the second junior high school to share about tourists spots in Florida. While we are in there, we pray for each student that we see. We've prayed in the neighborhoods of several Japanese Christians. They are confident that God will provide opportunities for them to witness to their neighbors. We all prayed on top of the mountain on Saturday. Forty churches were invited to attend, but only one showed up. That was sad, BUT that pastor plans to take members prayerwalking again later. That was encouraging to hear. We rejoice that God is freeing the Japanese people to open their hearts and receive him."

"Our hearts ached as we walked among the rice paddies and the scattered groups of homes in the country side. In one isolated group of houses, my husband met a lady on the street who wanted to know what we were doing out there in the country. He told her we had come to pray that people would know Jesus and trust him as Savior. The lady's reply broke our hearts as she said, "Who is Jesus?". My husband was able to share with her but she is old and has lived among the shrines and the strongholds of Satan for over 70 years. There are many like her. Pray with us for their salvation."

"We are a third of the way through March, the month we have asked for prayer for Free Japan, and I don't know about you, but I am beginning to feel a difference in my own heart. God is doing big things, albeit with very silent beginnings, and I want to be a part of it!"

"God's Spirit is calling Christians to intercede for the nation of Japan. The Lord Jesus has put on the hearts of many Christians in the Machida/Kanagawa area to join together for a day of prayer and fasting on March 20th. An awesome thing about this day of prayer is that Christians from different denominations are joining forces for two purposes: to praise the Lord, and to pray for spiritual freedom in this nation and in our area. We believe God is doing something new and fresh. The Lord of the Harvest desires to bring the Lord of Jesus to Japan in a new way."

"It was such a pleasure to take part in the Free Japan prayerwalk and especially a pleasure to meet all the wonderful people God brought to take part that day. There was such a feeling of family unity that really warmed our hearts!"

"After reading the missionary's report about the concentrated prayer for the 88 temple tour in Shikoku and what God did to bring one Japanese couple who participated in that tour to denounce that religious experience and search for their daughter's Christian God......makes me what to keep on keeping on!!! God is freeing the hearts of the Japanese people!!"

"We sent the Free Japan daily information to our 26 supporting churches in North America as well as to about 60 former missionaries to Japan who we know. We and got good response from many. Some plan to use the daily prayer reminder not only for March but in the future months, too. Former missionaries were especially happy to be reminded to pray."
